Now, The Wrap reports that veteran actor Brett Cullen (The Dark Knight Rises, Narcos, The Shallows) has replaced Baldwin as the father of The Batman.

Will the character still be depicted as "a cheesy and tanned businessman who is more in the mold of a 1980s Donald Trump?" That remains to be seen, but now that production is underway there's always a chance we'll get a glimpse of Cullen on set at some point.

Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime, with Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz and Marc Maron all on board for supporting roles.
