They were filming in Los Angeles today (September 25th) for the Dark Knight Rises on 4th and Grand. The scene I saw being shot involved the truck seen in other articles, three Tumblers, the Batwing (cockpit in photos) and an explosion coming out of a downward going ramp. There was fake snow all up and down the street and the bushes had even been covered in fake frost of some sort.

Walked straight through one of areas with the explosion, tried getting a video and they all scurried over and told me off for it. I still tried though. It was HUGE, the smoke cleared out all the way down 4th street almost. Crazy stuff.

I think it's safe to say that by this point in the film, the daylight scenes I mean, that the shit has hit the fan and Bruce is able to be Bats full time. Kind of what looks to be like an Arkham City situation, with the league of shadows taking over, Bane messing stuff up, etc. Gotham will be a war zone, it'll be more full time chaos compared to the more scheduled chaos of the Joker.
