Warner Brothers Interactive recently released a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum. We've embedded it below for your viewing pleasure!

Yeah, I've been waiting for this for a while now. I'm starting to get impatient. I saw a clip once that had Killer Croc in it, he is like 8 feet tall and looks so [frick]in bad. This game is gonna rock.

Croc does look badass in that clip. I read omewhere its going to be as immersive as Bioshock, Heres hoping!!!

Is this just about based on the idea behind the Arkham Asylum comic book, it seems sort of similar? I'm looking forward to checking this out.

Crusader, apparently Bruce Wayne dies at the end of Final Crisis. I think they are trying to compete with the death of Captain America, I think they should of killed off Superman again for good this time :P

If it's a blend of Batman and MGS then this game is gonna be the shit. MGS is one of the best game series out there

Yes, this game is indeed based on the story seen in the graphic novel of the same name.

Though in the interests of gaming pleasure and difficulty it has been expanded upon to ensure it's more interesting and I’m sure some unexpected twists will be added.

The graphic novel takes place well before the apparent death of Bruce Wayne - though he does suffer (mostly from his own hands) greatly, and almost dies trying to defeat Killer Croc.

I'm curious to find out how stealth orientated the game will be, I don't mind those kind of games but I’m more of a proactive kind of guy, and if I’m playing as Batman I’d expect him to hold his own in a fight without resorting to too much sneaking around or use of gadgets.

Of course it wouldn't be Batman without some of that, so it would be cool if there's a feature that shows what "kind" of crime fighter you are, Hands-On, Shadow-Sneak, Gadget-Lover, ect.

Also, for those that are interested, the new screenshots contain an AWESOME shot of Killer Croc. I got the videos directly from Warner Bros. Interactive, but they're probably the same ones that GameTrailers has...

This looks freakin awesome. Hopefully they will do a spinoff where you run around, free range style, Gotham city from Criminal to criminal, taking down the rogue gallery along the way Assassin Creed Style. That would be the best videogame ever!

I posted soemthing on the 'death' of Bat's on the Scoops tab. According to IonParallax, Batman isn't coming back as a member of the Black Lantern Corp, he's coming back as a 'new god' (whatever the hell that means...).

I'm not very knowledgable about the DC universe and I like batman (but have been out of the loop for so long it's pathetic. Stupid marvel stealing my time. lol)

Is that something similar to when Hal Jordan became (what was it called) Specter (...I think that's what he's called...)

finally it look like the game developers have got there heads on straight, long may it continue, the one thing i'm worried about is re-playability - is this gonna be a game where you play through it and thats pretty much it or is it gonna be i played through it now i wanna do it again but better.
