Well, it seems like you guys aren't buying Marion Cotillard's claims that she won't be playing a character from the comic books, and are still convinced that she'll be bringing Talia Al Ghul to life on the big screen in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises next year. JGL is John Blake. I dont doubt that or any other casting. But I'm convinced she's playing Talia, because she'd be perfect for so many reasons!

Just thought of something...what if Nolan's definitely putting Talia in TDKR, but played by someone other than Cotillard? If there's a main villain that Nolan's hiding, it could be Talia.

I don't see how people are being delusional. She's been seen dressed like a mascot for the League of Assa....Shadows... and is clearly involved in action scenes enough to merit a stunt double.

Could be a smoke-screen, although I have this idea that the actors haven't even been given material from the comics to read. They are, after all, working from a script and screenplay, not the adapted material. It may be that she has absolutely zero idea who Talia al Ghul is.

It makes sense for her to be Talia, and I would really like to see it.

But I feel that Nolan should not pull another Ra's/Ducard trick again.

Plus Bruce doesn't deserve to get his heart broken again.

Unless hooker?/socialite? Selina is his love interest. Go get um Bruce!

Ducard turning out to be Ra's Al Ghul is the only time that a character turned out to be a cover for another. No one before or since has done that, and the fact the Nolan did that before makes it unlikely he'd pull the same trick again.

Also, women wear a lot of weird clothes, no greater meaning behind that.

Have you seen her role in Inception? Have you see Ken Watanabe in Batman Begins. It's not new for "high caliber actors" to have small roles. Not to mention, her part is important. She's a "Wayne Enterprise board member eager to HELP a GRIEVING Bruce Wayne" in a film called The Dark Knight RISES.

Well I'm kind of on the fence as to whether she is or not. Part of me thinks shes Talia because immediately after they said Cotillard was in the movie, first thing I thought of was Talia. Shes perfect for that role. Then hearing about this Tate character I thought it was a Ducard cover. Now Im starting to believe its not but at the same time still not wanting to let go of her being Talia.

That being said, Nolan, when I go to the theatre and see your movie that I've been waiting years to feast my eyes upon, 1) It better be as great as, if not greater, then the rest of your works and 2) If youre going to stick with the Miranda Tate nonsense, driving us fanboys up a wall, she better be Miranda Tate through the whole film.
