But then again its HOLLYWOOD, there could be worst for the role and I don't mean he's a bad actor, just not right (MAINLY) for the Bruce Wayne part... anyone can play Batman under the mask if their an actor and look half the part.

I have been wanting Affleck to do something Batman related for months now, almost a year. Ever since Argo came out i have been rallying for him to direct the next Batman movie, even if it meant him starring in it. Idk why people are still so butthurt. It is like they think they can change the fact he has been cast. Guess what? You cant!

2. They didn´t make a good superman movie and most casual fans I´ve spoken to agree. MOS 2 would likely have made less money than the first if Batman wasn´t in it.
3. Made far less than Iron Man, which was propelled by the Avengers storyline. Which is why DC should have been making solo films., Such as when Joss Whedons Wonder Woman when he´d written it and if that wasn´t good they could have used the animated ww film script for a film script. It has good critical reception. The same could have been done with Green Lantern animated film. They aren´t building the world slowly with quality over quantity, they are just trying to cash in on marvels success.

7. All the characters in Justice League have different characters. I´m fed-up of Batman, and I´m certainly not interested in Ben Affleck Batman. But thats me personally.
8. Till the age of 50. why is Batman so old? don´t want a 50 year old batman. Also, Ben Affleck could direct without playing Batman or playing a role he is more suited to. I wouldn´t mind then. If he loved Batman so much he´d be willing to direct without starring in it.
9. He´s an ok director. The Town and Argo are not on Scorsesse level, or speilberg they are very good, but lets not blow things out of proportion. Snyder as far as I´m concerned is the far superior director atleast visually and a Ben Affleck batman script well I can´t say about that. It might actually be good. That I´d be up for seeing.
10. Oscars don´t mean a hell of alot to me. Wes Anderson doesn´t have a best director yet, scorsesse it took him till he directed The Departed to get an oscar. Are you seriously telling me Argo deserved an oscar more than Raging Bull? Oscars are gained politically most of the time

guys i really don´t get the hostility here, I´m trying to have a discussion. Its not like this means everything to me. As far as I´m concerned I don´t care that Ben Affleck is playing Batman, what I do care about is people trying to justify it. It just befuddles my mind, when are you guys ever going to get upset about anything.

1. Superman kills: Not upset
2. 3 quaters of MOS set peices: Not upset
3. Dark Knight Rises a load of crap Not Upset
4. Chose the wrong villian for TDKR not upset
5. Not doing any other DC movies aprt from batman and superman again not upset
6. promised justice league and solo movies not upset
7. don´t give MOS a sequel for supes to shine by himself not upset
8. ben affleck is now cast as batman not upset.

So basically because this team got it right with Ledger, and brought us TDK, everything from here until eternity that they do is justifiable.
