Robert Pattinson's stellar 2026 is continuing with the release of Primetime.
Following stellar performances in The Drama with Zendaya and The Odyssey alongside Matt Damon, Pattinson portrays Chris Hansen in Primetime, the host of the reality television series To Catch a Predator.
In the film, Hansen is depicted as a borderline psychopathic or sociopathic figure who becomes so consumed with his self-righteous crusade and ratings that his initial endeavor of simple altruism becomes severely corrupted.
Hansen has recently spoken out that he takes great exception to the film, calling it an "insult" and "overly dramatic."
Nevertheless, Pattinson is drawing rave reviews for his performance, so much so that some DC fans are now calling for the Batman actor to suit up as the Joker.
Speaking to EW, Pattinson replied to that notion of playing the Joker, stating, "Oh, Jesus. I mean, it’s such a great part… but Barry’s the man. I loved doing that scene with him so much ... I think he’s such a phenomenal actor. It was so fun doing that stuff with him. But yeah, I want him to do it. I’m much more interested in that."
Not much is known about The Batman: Part II. After a lengthy wait for Matt Reeves to get the script just right, it's not even clear at this junction whether Barry Keoghan is in the sequel.
The first film ends with a brief interaction between Paul Dano's Riddler and Keoghan's Joker but Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime was originally going to have a much bigger presence in the film.
Reeves cut a 5-minute scene where the Joker was already an inmate in Arkham Asylum and Batman stops by to ask the Joker to help profile the Riddler's case file. That scene would go on to be released online by WB after the film was released in theaters.
Based on set photos, The Batman: Part II is expected to feature the Court of Owls and Anarky thanks to recent set photos, while it's unclear between Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Stan who is actually playing Harvey Dent aka Two-Face.
The Batman: Part II officially began filming in June 2026 in London and it is expected to wrap in late-2026 or early-2027. It currently has a confirmed release date of February 18, 2028.
Besides Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Stan and Henry, other confirmed cast members include Scarlett Johansson in an undisclosed role, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, and Charles Dance as Charles Dent.
