The Dark Knight 3D Blu Ray?

The Dark Knight 3D Blu Ray?

I have recently been sent a particularly interesting image, revealing a possible look into the future of Christopher Nolan's famous franchise, and how Warner Bros will choose to treat it. Take the jump to find out!

Recently, I was emailed the following image, with the following message:

Hello,

I greatly admire your site, and I recently stumbled across an interesting prototype cover for a The Dark Knight 3D Blu-Ray cover. I work at the promotional department for Warner Bros, so I get earlier peaks at prototype posters, covers, etc. I thought it would be worth letting your site know this, as it's kind of the thing you guys do.

Also, like the Harry Potter series, there are also plans to have Chris Nolan's franchise put out of production, sort of like how all of Disney's classic animated films are put in the Disney Vault.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

that is fake beyond belief, you can see the dark knight picture glued on the front, and even for a prototype, that's sloppy

@Xenix actually, it pretty much is Nolan's choice. Nolan is WB's golden boy, he makes pretty much all their money now, so they wouldn't risk pissing him off by doing this, or else he'd probably jump ship. That is ridiculously fake, you can see the pixels where the Bluray 3D banner has been rotated at the top, and all the 3D stuff is out of context to the rest of the image (wrong colour intensity, shape, size, perspective, texture).

The closest that could be to not being fake is if the guy put a 3D blu-ray slipcase over a copy of the Dark Knight blu-ray.

Pixels aside, your telling us that the entire Blu-ray case is out of focus except for the top banner, which is razer sharp? Really.........really?
