Marketing for The Batman has kicked up a gear as 2021 winds down, and promotional material for the movie is now being spotted in theaters. Most of the posters have already been officially released, but we do have a first look at an awesome cinema standee inspired by the final shot of the recent DC FanDome trailer.

In related news, Matt Reeves' upcoming reboot has topped IMDb's most anticipated movies of 2022 list, beating the likes of Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (though something tells us this sequel might have placed higher after No Way Home's release), and The Flash.

Check out the full list below along with the standee and the latest international trailer.

1) The Batman

2) Scream

3) Thor: Love and Thunder

4) Top Gun: Maverick

5) Killers of the Flower Moon

6) Jurassic World: Dominion

7) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

8) Mission: Impossible 7

9) Uncharted

10) The Flash

"Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies — Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) — amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens."

“When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.”

The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. The movie is set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
