DC Collectibles revealed two new variant busts from The Dark Knight Rises, featuring Batman and Bane. Adding to an already extensive line of collectibles inspired by the film. The busts will go on sale this fall.

We have seen this weapon before in a still released months ago. As you can see it is allot longer then the official still shows. What could it be?

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

The great thing about the 8yr gap is this really could be anything, seeing as this set of Bat movies has tried to be as grounded as possible, i think having a 8yr gap will loosen those restraints somewhat.

I wonder what it does? I guess we will find out when the movie is released. Hopefully we get more pictures of it, or in a future trailer.

I want a statue of Batman holding that weapon, bust are lame!

I think it's something like what we saw in The Dark Knight, when Batman fires the (I'm going to call it explosive gel) in Hong Kong. Probably going to be something that fires tension cables though.
