Not bad. The Anne Hathaway choice is pretty good.

But I'm just curious as to how Nolan's gonna convince me that a 5'9" Hardy can effectively look like a 6'10" Bane. And don't give me that "lifts and camera angles" crap. Those are for few select scenes and for adding a few inches. This is more than a foot in height difference. It's too visible, unless he uses CGI, which is a little unlikely as this is Nolan we're talking about.

I THINK NOLAN'S GONNA DO WHAT HE'S GONNA DO THAT WILL BENIFIT THE STORY. HE'S ALWAYS IMMERSED HIMSELF IN THAT REGARD, ALWAYS ASKING THE QUESTION WHY AND PURPOSE AND BRINGING A CHARACTER OUT OF THE COMIC BOOK AND PLANTING THEM IN REALITY.



THE FRANCHISE TOOK A NOSEDIVE WITH SHUMAKER AND WITH NOLAN'S NEW TAKE, THE WORD "REBOOT" BECAME POPULAR IN HOLLYWOOD MUCH LIKE CAMERON'S AVATAR RE-INTRODUCING 3D..NOW WITH THIS CHOICE OF HATHAWAY, EVERYONE CAN LOVE OR HATE IT BUT IN THE END, ITS NOLAN, AND HE HASN'T STEERED US WRONG YET. HE CHOSE HEATH FOR THE JOKER AND MOST PEOPLE WERE LIKE "WHAT?, THE BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN GUY??"..AND TODAY HE' S REGARDED AS THE BEST PORTRAYAL OF THE JOKER, EVER.



SO HONESTLY REGARDLESS, LOVE OR HATE HIS CHOICES, IN THE END HIS STRONG SUIT IS STORY. I PERSONALLY ONLY QUESTION MORE WHEN WILL IT COME OUT AS OPPOSED TO THE WHY OR HOW. IT WILL BE GOOD.

I also think she is gorgeous. The only film I have actually seen her in start to finish is Brokeback Mountain but she surprised the Hell out of me in that. You guys all seem to forget that Nolan screen tested a whole bunch of girls for this role. Obviously Hathaway showed him something the others did not. With Hardy as Bane, I really think people should prepare for a very different incarnation of that character.
