Being rewarded shouldn't involve campaigning whatsoever. Its like being given a gift or a complement, you don't keep pushing onto someone how great you are in order to receive one, it just needs to happen on its own, otherwise its selfish and stupid

Is WB also pushing for other movies? Because it's obvious in this site we'll see just the Batman ones.

Once again folks, campaigning for an Oscar isn't new. It's half of the challenge of winning. The other half is: making a good movie. Speaking of which, after watching Rises again... I don't think Best Picture and Best Directing is out of the question. Without a doubt, Chris Coubould and Wally Pfister are a sure win. If you've seen all of the Production Videos, Rises is a magnificent piece of filmmaking.

The only award it will NOT win is: Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay). The script wasn't awful, it's just not Oscar material. I read it, and the descriptions of action and characters seem to depend on your knowledge of BB and TDK. It seemed as if they said, we got enough storyboards, we don't need a perfect script. (Being an accurate representation of the mythology probably won't factor into this decision.)

Seriously now, i get all the "Every company campaign with posters", but do they advert 5 "different" posters per week?

Anyways i agree with @poop23

A few to get the attention on the movie i get that, but more than a dozen in less than a month...

And i mean for every movie, not just this. Since i don't vote for the oscars i'm not really caring about the whole campaign.

And last thing, since i'm not american, do the nominees and the winners get chosen by the people? If so i get all the advertisements.

i suppose if you beg hard enough like warner seems to be doing the oscar committee will just give in & give them a nomination just so they shut the f*ck up. :D

if the dark knight rises gets a best picture nomination(hahahahaha)sorry i couldn't hold it back any longer.it'll be like when "extremely loud & incredibly close" got nominated it shouldn't of been there with those other movies.

i'm not expecting the avengers to be nominated for anything but it would f*ckin crack me if it got nominated for the awards the dark knight rises is campaigning for without one "for your consideration" poster.
