After Warner Bros. released the newest trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the internet blew up. As it turns out the trailer took over Twitter and destroyed any competition in its path, even Marvel's Captain America: Civil War trailer. According to ListenFirst, a research company, they released some new information revealing that the Batman v Superman trailer did better on Twitter during its first week than Captain America: Civil War's trailer.
The trailer, however took fifth place behind both trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the trailer for The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay - Part 2, and Insurgent. There is no surprise there that Star Wars would take the top spot, but the second place spot as well? That is impressive.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016.
