In the early 2000s, long before Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice was conceived, WB very nearly moved ahead with a very different take on the two iconic DC characters. The project was cancelled but now you can see what it would have looked like with the help of animator Sean Willets!

I think DC fans are annoyed that they're getting more out of WB/DC all because of the MCU success( you know, the "inferior" label).

True comic book fans don't have the time to waste to make comparisons between DC & Marvel & who's done what first. They should be damned happy we're finally getting a shared universe on both sides. I'm a DC guy. Spider-man is the only major character from Marvel that i love. But u knw what, i enjoy the MCU films alot. Very excited to see what DC is bringing to the table. I love the fact that the tones & approach to universe building from the two studios are different. Adds diversity. All in all its a great time to be a comic book fan. I'm sure the bigwigs behind Marvel & DC root for eachother's success. The comparisons people make here, it's evident alot of children frequent this site, posing as adults

How long does that take? How many years have they not been understanding what a gold mine they had?
Why did it take so very long for them to get it?

Look, I love DC's characters but come on - WB hasn't had their sh1t together for a long time
now. I AM happy that they are finally - seemingly - starting to get in the
game. But don't tell me it's because some manager, who by the way has been a
part of WB since 1994, SUDDENLY said, "Hey guys, look what we have here -
let's make some extraordinarily expensive movies without any idea whether
the public wants them!"

@dapussy DC is failing because of brain dead people. Their story, plot everything goes too deep to understand half of human population that loves superhero movie. DC talks about philosophy and stuff too much (which is cool) and most of them thinks its boring... of course its boring because they cant understand. Do you know why Watchmen was SO UNDERRATED? because there was too many deep as hell things was there. They talked about deep things, back story too much instead of no sense humor and fight. Almost every character's origin included in that movie without making one by one movie like marvel. Do you know why people love Marvel? because its easy to understand. When i watch every marvel movie every time it gets so obvious what happens next 10 or 20 minute. That disappoints me so much. Seriously. Only surprise was that mad nazi scientist and everything repeats. I love marvel movies... but i cant feel their characters like DC. Marvel characters like pops up and talk something horrible and they became superhero like in 10 or 20 minutes. Just Like That. Villains too! They pops up with just normal reason and gets destroyed. But DC? dc is different. If your brain works you can feel every character in that movie. I cant even hate villains... (im not talking about Green Lantern). I dont want something cheesy, lame ass jokes on DC movie.
