Before I begin I want to say that everyone has an opinion, it's not a privilege but a right, we all have something to say. With that out of the way let's start.

Batman v Superman is almost upon us, crazy to think it was announced three years ago just days after Man of Steel was released. So far from a critical stand point it has been it has been torn apart, criticized, and even compared to. Here are a few reviews slim down that I got from Rotten Tomatoes and don't worry I have a point: "Eventually the script's illogic and the relentless pounding of the action scenes wear you down"(Boston Globe) "Blunt, humorless, and baffling, it collides the brutish directorial stamp of its director (he of 300 and Watchmen fame) with the most shameless instincts of our latter-day superhero franchise bubble"(Slate) and the last one "In the words of The Joker in a far better Batman movie: "Why so serious?""(Dallas Morning News).
Wow, they went at it like a pack of wolves, you got to like it when one of them quoted a classic. So where am I going with this? It's simple, Fans can't take criticism. It's completely normal, we feel disrespected when someone talks smack about something we love, usually by joking or just being a jerk. My point is that for Fans blaming the critics for not seeing what a good movie this is (even though it obviously isn't) by saying that they're biased or don't know what they are talking about.

My answer to them is that they're doing their job to review a FILM. Batman v Superman is a FILM. And really come on, you honestly think that they’ll be biased as hell to lash on this one and give praise to any Marvel film. That’s just dumb. The critics job is to review a film but also pointing out what’s wrong with it. From what anyone can tell by just reading a couple of reviews is that, it has a bad story, bad characterization, bad motives and most of all, plants the seeds for future films.

From the Fans perspective, they really like the LOOK of the movie, it’s VISUALLY appealing. The fights were good. Two characters stand out. Whenever I read those one thing comes up in my mind. Is that it? That’s really what you got out of it. Not the cast? Although yes, Batman does a get a good reception but what about Superman, from what I heard there’s not enough focus for him. Like when he goes to Capitol Hill, there’s not enough of him explaining how he views justice in his perspective. Another aspect that questionable is the Knightmare scene. How does it keep the story going, what’s the point, is to show what’s Batman’s fears are, cause how the hell is the Flash there?

Finally, one more question, instead of them fighting, do Batman and Superman talk? Now, immediately they’ll point out the party scene. No, not that one but when stop to just talk about their views on justice. Again, they’ll point out to after the big hyped up rainy fight scene which isn’t even that long. There’s never a moment from what I read that these two heroes just talk. I was expecting more of this from Daredevil season 2 to happen

But no, there was none of that

As you can tell, the fan’s personal take on the film is really not that special. For a film to be Visually appealing is weak, it can’t be remembered by just that. For a film to be remembered it has a to have an engaging story and characters that’ll be remembered. But, when one title character is better than the other and one not even mentioned in the title but appears in the film is better than the other title character, it’s pretty good indication that something is wrong. Lastly, the big fight, it’s probably the most hyped thing in a comic book movie that doesn’t last long and the way it’s resolved is stupid.

Overall, in the case of Fandom v Critics, it’s best to read on what someone professionally has to say also taking into consideration what the fans point of view is. Thank you.

I saw the film and I like it but I can understand why some people might not like it. You're right, some people can't take criticism and they get offended by negative comments. People just need to see the film for themselves so they can judge and have their own opinion. I can't wait to the see the R rated version myself.

It's a good thing that you re-did it and put quotes in bold and stuff but you're missing the spacing between the paragraphs. Go ahead and do it bro.

But I still look forward to reading more from you.
