Hot Toys Unveils 'Armored Batman' Figure From BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
We've seen statues and figures based on the Caped Crusader's Batman v Superman armored suit, but now Hot Toys has unveiled its incredibly detailed take on it in the 1/6th scale.
The folks at Hot Toys have just revealed official images of their 1/6 scale collectible figure based on the awesome Armored Batsuit that Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader will don in the fast-approaching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Though we’ve seen many statues and toys inspired by the suit, Hot Toys’ well-articulated figure is incredibly detailed and is seen below taking on the Man of Steel. Following the official introduction of Batman and Superman, Hot Toys is very excited to present today, the 1/6th scale collectible figure of Armored Batman! The movie-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Ben Affleck as Armored Batman from the film. It features a newly developed armored head with LED light-up eyes and two interchangeable lower faces capturing Ben Affleck’s facial expressions, meticulously crafted armor with weathering effects, detailed Batman weapons, and a specially designed Batman v Superman themed figure stand.
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
