The left-most bright spot is Baltimore, and Snyder has said that Metropolis is in the Chesapeake Bay, so I'm guessing that'll be Metropolis in DCEU's America.

To be honest though, no one would miss B-more.

"Just thought I'd share something. This, this is symbolism of the highest order. I didn't even notice it, but clearly there is a parallel between the two shoots. Other than the spot on cinematography, there is a correlation between Batman viewing Superman as the "devil" and the civilian viewing Superman as the angelic protector. But there are tons of more subtleties in the shot as well, but that's the surface. If you're helpless and he's the only one who can save you, he's a god. If you question his authority, he turns a 180 real quick. This is what Lex is afraid of, love it.

Zack Snyder can tell more than with visuals than dialogue. Visual storytelling at its best. People feel the need to be spoonfed everything in dialogue and Zack isn't about that. They don't pay attention to the scenes and only focus on the words out of context

Can't get over how meta this movie is. It's a figurative middle finger to Man of Steel haters and I love that." -Fan
