POLL: What Do You Think Of Jason Momoa's 'Aquaman' Look In BATMAN V SUPERMAN?

After taking almost a three-month hiatus from Twitter since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wrapped filming in New Mexico, director Zack Snyder returned to the social media outlet late last night to provide our first official look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The "Unite the Seven" reveal was especially surprising given the DC anti-superhero was said to only cameo in the Man of Steel follow-up, while there are several main characters we've yet to see officially. However, what might have been more unexpected is the director's approach to Aquaman, whose costume is "proudly" designed by Michael Wilkinson, and seemingly takes inspiration from comic artist Martin Egeland's design instead of the "classic" look. The photo shows a grungy Jason Momoa with dreadlocks, tribal fish scale-like tattoos, and partial body armor as opposed to blonde hair, golden chain-mail armor, and green tights. Of course, he wouldn't be the true King of the Seven Seas without his trademark trident, which the Game of Thrones alum is gripping rightfully. Though we may have to wait a while to see the full costume when Aquaman appears in Dawn of Justice, before returning full-fledged in Justice League Part One (Nov 17, 2017) and the solo movie (July 27, 2018), what do you think?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter. The film, written by Chris Terrio from David S. Goyer's screenplay, and directed by Zack Snyder, hits March 25, 2016!

It looks awful. I've thrown a massive amount of support for this film out there, but this is really, really disappointing.

It's pretty much the 'Khal Drogo of Atlantis' look most people expected after the casting of Momoa, and that look they did quite well.

Pretty much what I thought it would be, and pretty much what I wanted it to be. I'm a happy lad.

I love it. I'm a big Momoa fan, and he looks completely badass. I like the Barbaric design, the tats are awesome. Can we make this Batman v Aquaman and get rid of boing old Superman?

i can see the comic reader being annoyed because he doesnt have blond hair when its part of the character. but other than that i think its a great look.

I like it. He looks badass. I could see him looking even more badass in water with his locks all over the place.

lookgs good, aquaman certainly needs this hard edged look for regular audiences to take him seriously. I'm honestly surprised that some people still expected him to look like a californian surfer especailly after Momoa was cast.

Kind of what I expected from Zach Snyder. His designs always looks like they need a little more color, but they still look cool.

I think they're mixing Polynesian tribal stuff with Atlatean stuff. So [frick]ing awesome. If @TronVin is right, I will be [frick]ing blown away.

Actually I'm so excited for the DC Universe. I really can't wait for BVS or Justice League.

Hopefully Snyder realized some of his mistakes in MOS and can correct them.

Honestly while I enjoyed MOS I felt it moved too slow for the first hour.

Make development for the characters but fast forward to the good stuff everyone wants to see asap.

Hopefully with BVS that will be true.

I just want it to be a nonstop epic!

I just wish he'd taken other career choices before. Right now I'm just seeing the same Momoa I've always seen. Let's hope his performance is something awesome and distinctive

I can only imagine how a Aquaman will turn it.....
The visuals alone would be something we never seen before in a comic book movie

It's all happening

I'm a little disappointed, I was expecting to be a little more blown away when we finally saw Aquaman on the big screen and this just didn't do much for me. I didn't want to see him till he finally appeared in the movie, i guess that may be the link to my disappointment. Even as a long time Marvel fan I still think this movie will be awesome.
