What a ride it's been huh? 
 
Filming for the follow up to 2013's "Man of Steel" follow up "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" started on May 16th 2014, 203 days of shooting. And now, we have official confirmation from "Batman v Superman" Cinematographer Larry Fong that filming has officially finished.

Now they have a whole year to perfect and tweak whatever they can during editing and if necessary reshoots. Maybe adding stuff to connect to Suicide Squad is my guess. Not sure if either this movie or Suicide Squad are what I'm looking forward to most from DC

Haven't it been talks for a Batman V Superman trailer for the Hobbit or was that just a rumor

@TheBreadHood. Knowing Zack Snyder, i wouldn't be suprised if this movie is extremely special effects heavy, with charachters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (Aquaman confirmed as well by Momoa) prehaps even Doomsday an so forth.

This movie literally managed to film without us getting set photos of Batman and Wonder Woman in costume. This movie literally went 7 months without any real significant leaks. Thats impressive in a day and age where breaking scoops has become a paying industry.

All I want to see is Ezra miller in his flash suit because there is no way he can't top Gustins Barry and I doubt Ezra's suit is going to be better than the tv versions

Even if they wait on the first trailer until March, like 3 months from now it's STILL a year away..

Seriously though, why is the release date that far away? It wasn't sooo long ago Avengers finished filming and they are releasing it this summer..

If it's done shooting, why are we going to wait 16 months until the movie actually comes out? What are WB going to be doing in the mean time aside from tweaking the scenes? They should just release it for Summer next year imo.

I've been reading the talkbacks on this site for a while. You all seem like a well rounded bunch of individuals (for the most part) so I've signed up.

For me, this is shoulder and cape. Colour me excited. I hope this movie is everything I want it to be and more! (Trying to keep expectations at a manageable level)
