411 Mania is the latest site to have caught up with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder after Bob Kane was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the filmmaker has revealed even more interesting details about the highly anticipated release. After confirming that they're now "pretty far" in to production, he was asked about the chances of a new trailer and confirmed: "I think we got to have a trailer soon." Fingers crossed he means this year! Talk quickly turned to the fact that he's using Batman v Superman to essentially create the DC Extended Universe, and Snyder offered a detailed explanation as to how he's going about that. "Listen. I want to — we’re working toward Justice League, and I really want to create the — part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together. I think up to this point, it’s been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at. Not to mention, the amazing opportunity to bring those characters and have those characters tell an important story, their own story, within the confines of a film."

As for the Batmobile, Snyder dropped even more details about this take on the iconic vehicle, and it sounds like it's definitely going to have a lot in common with the version from Batman: Arkham Knight. "Zack Snyder: You know it has all the kind of fun stuff. It has the countermeasures — we always talk about the countermeasures because people are like, 'What the heck is countermeasures?' You know if I shot a missile at it, flares would pop out of those holes and stop the missile from hitting it. So that’s fun. It’s got this crazy gun [on the front part of the vehicle]. It’s super-fast. It’s electrified. It can do all the other Bat-car stuff. But the cool thing I liked about it is that it’s a purpose built Batmobile, right? Which is kind of fun to get back to that." We've obviously seen a lot of images and footage of the vehicle since it was first unveiled, but what exactly it's capable of doing isn't something we've really been clued into until now. It sounds pretty damn awesome based on this description from Snyder, but those countermeasures aren't going to do Batman a whole lot of good if that scene from the Comic-Con trailer is any indication.

Finally, the site asked Snyder if he will be making a cameo appearance in the movie, and it sounds like we're going to have to keep our eyes peeled! "You won’t see my face. I pick some things up, but that’s it." What do you guys think of these latest Batman v Superman details?

Can't express how monumental I know Justice League is bound to be. It's going to be legendary. Ezra Miller's Flash is going to be a highlight. lol I can already see it.

Just realized that Affleck looks like Adam West's Batman in some pics. West had short ears too.

The Bat-tank in Dark Knight Returns had a ton of guns - they just shot rubber bullets. I'd imagine it will be something similar here.

As for the trailer, releasing anything close to a Star Wars trailer release is a waste of effort, as they found with the first teaser. The subsequent trailer was much better received because it essentially "owned the air waves."

I imagine they'll release another soon now that Star Wars is all trailered out.

Zack Snyder: I think we got to have a trailer soon.

Jeffrey Harris: Star Wars: The Force Awakens just had a new trailer.

Zack Snyder: Yeah.

Jeffrey Harris: So you and J.J. Abrams have a fun sort of rivalry. Are you going to up the ante?

Zack Snyder: I don’t know. I’m hoping to.

Jeffrey Harris: Last question, do you have a cameo in Batman v. Superman? Will we see you in the movie?

Zack Snyder: You won’t see my face. I pick some things up, but that’s it.

I guess we'll find out Monday night. We should have heard something by now unless they are going old school and surprising us with it before the internet days.

how come some people can be so delusional about NOT getting a trailer before this year's end ??

of course we are getting a new trailer soon;

major blockbusters are coming in the next month, and since wb/dc are launching a "new universe"
they need all the hype they can possibly can, what better way than to give us a trailer very soon ?

*sigh*

Seeing all of this unfold before our us, Next year especially in IMAX will be glorious. It's going to be something special indeed, Thinking of that at this very moment just really gives me chills. Deadpool will kick start next year's crazy Comic Book Schedule, Batman V Superman will blow our minds. Civil War will satisfy the Marvel Fans no doubt, X-Men Apocalypse will hopefully follow suit to the same formula of X-men 2 & Days Of Future Past & Take it to a higher level in terms of story and action. Suicide Squad is going to just crazy fun, Can't wait to see that film. Doctor Strange sounds interesting & much different than the rest of their properties, Benedict will own the role for sure. Gambit not sure about that one yet, Once they find all the right pieces and get the ball rolling and really sell us that it'll be worth to go see. Then i'm in, 2016 will be the start of a great slate for both DC & Marvel movies. Damn i'm just so damn excited for everything we're going to get from here on to 2020 it's just crazy!

Seeing as David Goyer isn't working on the DCEU anymore, I hope the Martian Manhunter will be in the Justice League. J'onn J'onzz brings so many great things to the team, like making the JL a family and I'd hate to see that taken away from the movies.

I just HOPE that theory about this being the fifth film of "Christopher Nolans Universe" (hence the Roman numeral V in Batman V Superman, V = 5) I hope that Isnt true!!!! Batman better not be Slade Wilson...

@WakandasSoul I agree with you. I think the team up films are strong. Until that point, 2016 will be the best I think. I'm only a bit wary of those years as I'm afraid of over saturation killing quality. I think DCEU AND MCU won't let us down, or don't want too, but I'm still cautious

Take your head out of your A$$ for one second and think....... there is no reason to bring MM in BvS......Maybe they are saving him for JL 1 to introduce a interstellar threat..............

You just want to find something to bitch about.
