Black Panther is now in theaters and it's breaking countless box office records. The movie feels like more than just Marvel's latest effort to expand its Cinematic Universe too because the cultural importance of the Ryan Coogler helmed release is massive and given the success it's found, it's clear that T'Challa is going to have a huge impact on the genre and could become the face of this world.

To celebrate the movie's release, we're taking a look at some amazing Black Panther concept art and we're now taking a look at even more artwork featuring the suit worn by Chadwick Boseman's hero.

As well as variations on the purple colour which was used in his kinetically charged suit, we get to see a number of very different designs, including those which are very animalistic and look like something out of a sci-fi movie! All of these look great but I'm really happy with the one they went for in the movie

James Gunn said that the first Groot is dead and baby Groot is his son.

@blackandyellow - He's been mentioning that since before Vol.2 released. Not the son part but that baby groot was not the same as the one in the first film.

I really loved the suit in the film. The intricate triangular shapes in the design, the muscle padding, and those african symbols and designs used to show the glow of the kinetic energy. Great stuff and very Afrofuturist.

Give me Storm by the threequel. I'd be happy with Janelle Monae in the role.

@MNLawyer - I do love me some Janelle... just wonder if they’d go accent or not with an MCU storm i dont know if she could pull that off

@Spock0Clock - ScarJo is 5'3. We can fudge a little bit on height. (Except for Wolverine whos actor should be sub 5'5)

@Ha1frican - I'd be interested in that as well, but Marvel seems to be good with accents

Damn, these are glorious. There are so many beautiful designs.
I like them all. I really like the profile of the mask on the very last image.
And I have to agree with ha1frican, that one version of the costume he linked, might be the best. It’s meaner and more intimidating than the others. It’s more Panther-like. Has a stronger masculinity to it.
Maybe, hopefully, we’ll get that in the next sequel

So many solid ideas from the get-go, building on a great character/mythology. Respect to Marvel.

Definitely should have used one of these two, they're awesome! Perhaps Killmonger since they look more villainous...
