Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passed away last month after a lengthy battle with cancer. The actor never went public with his diagnosis, and continued playing T'Challa while secretly fighting the disease. To call him a hero is an understatement, and the impact he had on the world will continue to be felt for a very long time to come.

A lot of tributes have found their way online since Boseman's death, both from those who know him and those whose lives were made better by his time spent on screen.

Now, Empire Magazine has revealed the covers for its tribute issue for Boseman. The first will be available on newstands, while the second reflects on the actor's biggest roles courtesy of artist Kingsley Nebechi. It's unclear what will be inside the magazine itself, but it will likely be a rehash of content already published online.

Regardless, it's still good to see a publication like this highlight Boseman, as the impact he had on Hollywood was huge. With Black Widow delayed until 2021, it remains to be seen whether that movie will be used to pay tribute to the actor the same way Captain Marvel's opening did with Stan Lee.

Check out the covers below:

I would have put Black Panther more centre in that second one. It's kinda like Christopher Reeves superman for him.

It was very sad to hear this news that Chadwick had passed away. Black Panther was an amazing film and up there with infinity war ironman and Winter Soldier and many more as the best mcu movies. He did a great job and seemed like a really nice guy rip. I hope he had a happy life and looking forward to a Black Panther 2 with Shuru hopefully in the role

Something that I’ve been thinking about that’s been helping me- and I really hope it doesn’t come across as insensitive- is that time waits for no one. I don’t mean it like “Oh, he would’ve died eventually, so what does it matter?”, because I know his life and career were cut so short. I guess it was just a realization that at some pointed this is what is going to happen to all of the MCU stars we love, and all of us. Death gets all of us, ya know?

I had a dream I was in the theater watching Black Panther 2 and he was still alive, lighting up the screen : (

Sadly, every part of this dream couldn't be further from reality.

I would love to pick up that second cover as it shows the diversity of the key roles in his career. Still feels wrong to talk about him in the past tense, I well up every so often. I knew he was special when I was him in 42 back in 2013, but to see how far he came in such a short space of time while fighting cancer behind the scenes? Truly incredible.

I rewatched Get On Up a couple weeks ago and I loved it even more than the last time. Boseman does such a terrific job emulating James Brown's mannerisms and charisma and for me it's his finest performance.

off all the 2020 shenanigans this one's still in the running for the biggest "are you f*cking kidding me with this sh*t?" moment. I mean, this year has been terrible all across the board, it didn't have to literally kill one of our superheroes.

2020 - be damned. Gratitude for the works he left us - intense curiosity for the great works he would have created.
