Last Saturday night's weekly VS match up was a doozy. In one corner we had the blind lawyer from Hell's kitchen Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. In the other corner, we found Matt Murdocks good friend and King of Wakanda, T'Challa The Black Panther.

With over 1600 votes, the CBM community made this an interesting match up. This battle also gives us our highest tie percentage yet.

LOL. i think popularity usually trumps logic with fans! i remember when DC vs. Marvel came out, "Wizard" ran a great interview..i think it was "Wizard" anyway......with Dan Jurgens about who would win vs. who should win......... so bring on Batman and Galactus! Wolverine vs. Eternity!

In all honesty, Panther, Daredevil and Cap are always working together and are very good friends. I have seen each one of them lay out each of the other two over the years and have always thought of the three as being fairly even matchups. I'm not overly familiar with all of the Panthers recent upgrades.

I don't think it's a case of people being Bat-haters, it's more a case of he never seems to lose a poll. He could be put against the entirety of Apokolips and still come up with the win somehow. His polls are filled with fanboys who fail to understand that he's essentially just a very clever and well trained bloke in a fancy costume. There are just some really unrealistic expectations of what a guy in his position can do against, for example, a guy with a power ring. He's he master of plot-induced stupidity.

As for the latest match-up, I think I would pick Colossus. He's ccome a long way since his earlier appearences and is now comfortable hanging with the big dogs. The Thing might have a smidgen more strength than him but Colossus has been trained to a high degree by the X-Men. With the strength gap being so minute it becomes a case of who's the better fighter and let's face it, Grimm isn't exactly a master of finesse and style. Colossus' training wins him this one.

To all the Bat-haters saying that if there was a poll where Batman was up against Galactus or other mega cosmic beings and bat-fans would vote for Batman. It would only seem logical if it was possible for humans to defeat guys like this. If it isnt then of course Batman wouldnt stand a chance.
