RUMOR: BLACK PANTHER To Start Shooting Next Year
Latino-Review scooper Elmayimbe is at it again, this time claiming to have in his possession a grid that reveals Marvel Studios' plans to shoot Black Panther next year. While it's not confirmed as of yet, hit the jump for further details!
Well, this is interesting! With Marvel's first "Phase 3" movie (Ant-Man) set to start shooting next year, it shouldn't really come as too much of a surprise to learn that the studio are already planning more than just that and The Avengers 2 for 2015 and beyond. According to Latino-Review's @elmayimbe, the plan is to also shoot Black Panther in 2014 (more than likely for a 2016 release, although THAT is just speculation on our end at this point). The site also recently reported that 42 star Chadwick Boseman is front runner for the role. For now, file this under "Rumor", but it does sound as if more details will soon follow. If this is indeed the case, a cameo in Joss Whedon's superhero ensemble sequel also seems highly likely. What do you guys think?
