Although we're still a few months away from the release of Marvel's Black Widow, new promo material for Natasha's first solo outing continues to find its way online.

This international theater standee for the movie was spotted in the wild and shared by our friends at MCU Direct. As you can see, it features the soon-to-be Avenger suited-up and ready for action with her trusty batons in hand. We also have some new promo art via the official tie-in magazine.

Check out the artwork below along with some preview pages from Marvel Comics' Black Widow prelude issue.

Simply click on the NEXT button below!

Cover

Like most of Marvel's prelude comics, this cover doesn't actually use an image from the movie it's supposed to be setting up. This shot of Natasha is from Captain America: Civil War.

Page #1

Here we see General Ross telling an unidentified Agent (Maria Hill, perhaps?) about Natasha's murky past and her eventual recruitment into the Red Room.

Page #2

Ross reveals that Romanoff was their star pupil, but ran into a few "setbacks." It looks like Widow came up against someone who was just a little better than she was. It'll be interesting to see if this mysterious character plays a role in the movie.

@Matador - I have made the first matinee on opening day for ALL of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, except for Thor, when I was unavoidably detained.

I could not give two drizzling shits at a rolling johnny box about this movie.

Come on.

You come off Endgame with THIS????? Some stupid assed White Widow and a grinning, drunk, idiotic Red Guardian?

No.

Marvel Studios, I have standards. THIS is your "contractually obligated pile of bullshit" unnecessary film rammed into the schedule.

As conceptually useless as Iron Man III, PREVIOUSLY THE most throw-away film of the MCU.

I really wish Marvel Studios had a better follow-on act. I won't see this one all the way through. And, if I do see it, it will be on a pirate site.

Come on, Marvel. You have PROVED you are better than this.

@bropous - Okay I was trying to be funny but you just hijacked that comment to exact your hate?

I'm looking forward to it so....

@Matador - It's what I do. And the new Chicom virus will not help box office numbers.

I hope this is more Winter Soldier than Captain Marvel in terms of quality.

Who says the MCU is going to shit? I'm quite excited for this movie and Eternals, and many of the TV shows. And we'll be blown away when FF is announced.
