After originally being set for a May 1 release, Black Widow has taken the spot once reserved for Eternals, and now comes our way on November 6. That's assuming theaters are open by then, of course, but it's looking like they might be as restrictions are lifted and Tenet remains on course for a July 17 debut.
Should a second coronavirus (COVID-19) peak hit, then Disney will be forced to either consider pushing Black Widow into 2021 or having the film premiere on Digital platforms.
With the countdown to Black Widow's release still on for the moment, Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has shared a high-resolution version of that first piece of artwork that was unveiled last year, showing Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff facing off against the mysterious Taskmaster in a deadly battle.
"This was one of the earliest keyframes I painted up during preproduction on the Black Widow film," Park says on his Art Station account. "This keyframe was especially rewarding to illustrate because I also got to design both their costumes/looks for the film."
