In a recent interview in China, the Russo Brothers have just joined the band of people who would love to see a Black Widow film happen! When asked about whether or not they'd want to be involved in such a film, Joe Russo responded, "Hell yeah! We love that character." Anthony then added, "And we love Scarlett." Just as Clark Gregg noted, Anthony Russo explains that there are a lot of possibilities with the Black Widow character. "We find that the character is one of if not the richest character in the Marvel universe. A very complex character, haunted by demons and her understanding of the world is fascinating. I think there is a lot that can be done with that character."

Based on what we've seen in the Captain America: Civil War set photos, and the trailer, Black Widow looks to have a much bigger role than she did in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Anyhow, if Marvel were to announce a Black Widow film, what would you want it to be? A Budapest prequel with Hawkeye? How about a film that explores Natasha's dark past? Whatever ideas you have, share them in the comment section below!
