2020 is the first year since 2009 we've had no new Marvel Studios content, but things are beginning to look up in 2021. While we still don't know whether the likes of Black Widow and Eternals will debut in theaters or on Disney+ (or both simultaneously, HBO Max-style), Disney has shared an updated release schedule for its Marvel Cinematic Universe offerings.
Which are as follows:
WandaVision - January 15th, 2021
Falcon and The Winter Soldier - March 19th, 2021
Black Widow - May 7th, 2021
Loki - May 2021
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - July 9th, 2021
What If? - Summer 2021
Eternals - November 5th, 2021
Ms. Marvel - Late 2021
Hawkeye - Late 2021
Nine visits to the MCU in 2021? We'll take it.
With this news comes a new still from Black Widow which puts the spotlight on Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff. She's looking a little worse for wear here, and has clearly been through the wringer in this solo adventure set prior to the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
Something tells us that Disney will ultimately decide to release this Marvel Studios movie on Disney+'s Premier Access service, especially with so many theaters across the globe still closed.
