Anthony Mackie Shares His Thoughts On BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN...VS. CAPTAIN AMERICA 3
Captain America: The Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie shares his thoughts on Captain America 3 facing off against Batman Vs. Superman in 2016 before revealing who he personally believes will triumph when two of DC's most iconic superheroes clash. Check it out!
"It's kinda insane, I'm very happy about it," Anthony Mackie told Access Hollywood when they caught up with him to discuss the positive buzz surrounding Captain America: The Winter Soldier. "You know Chris Evans is a good friend of mine and I'm very happy to see him break out as a huge star in this movie. I feel like when you go watch this movie, he jumps up as a leading man and kisses the girl, saves the kid and slaps the guy. It's always good to see your friends succeed." As for how he feels about facing off against Batman Vs. Superman in 2016, Mackie laughed, before jokingly adding: "Done! I've been up against Ben Affleck before. I won! Hell yeah." Talk then turned to who he thinks will win between Batman and Superman when they clash, to which the actor responded: "Superman is kind of a square. I've always wished Superman was a brother. So, I think Batman has to because Batman is cooler! He has a lair, all the chicks, he's stupid rich and he has all the gimmicks. He has Morgan Freeman! Done! Superman ain't got no Morgan Freeman, you know what I mean? Done! Batman: 1, Superman: 0."
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
