If you do not know this by now, it should be common knowledge that the Captain America: The Winter Soldier production in Cleveland is shutting down 3.5 miles of highway closure on the Memorial Shoreway.

Previously, The Daily SuperHero reported a city government official had said, "There will be more car action in Captain America than all past Marvel Studios movies combined." Along with another report saying that the Shoreway will be shut down to film an extensive car action scene.

After digging and digging for more detailed information on these reports about the Shoreway, it can now be confirmed—by a local business owner who was given a letter from the Cap 2 production company—there will indeed be a car action sequence. (You can see a photo of this letter below.)

In the letter it clearly states, "We will film car chase scenes and stunt sequences with gunfire on the Shoreway."

The letter continues to discuss all the closures for the Shoreway and nearby streets that have been known by both the media and general public from press releases by the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. What wasn't known, until now, is that there will be a helicopter filming scenes on the Shoreway on June 7.

"On Friday June 7, we will film from a helicopter which will conduct low flyovers in the vicinity of the Shoreway."

All the past reports/scoops about the Shoreway are looking more and more like they can all be confirmed based on this new bit of information directly from the production company, via a local business owner.

Stay tuned as The Daily SuperHero is your on location source for Captain America 2 in Cleveland!
