CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD Rumor Claims To Reveal Role Of Adamantium In The Movie - Possible SPOILERS

An intriguing Captain America: Brave New World rumour is doing the rounds today claiming to reveal more about the role Adamantium will play in the long-awaited Marvel Studios movie. Read on for details...

Captain America: Brave New World was originally set to be released today, May 3, 2024. Instead, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace is being re-released in theaters to celebrate its 25th anniversary, an outcome we know many of you will be disappointed by.

While Marvel Studios has managed to push back many of the movie's promotional tie-ins, it seems nothing can stop McDonald's. As a result, Captain America: Brave New World Happy Meal toys are now out in the wild.

That's meant heaps of promo art finding its way online and, today, we can follow that up with a very intriguing rumour.

According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, the movie will indeed feature the introduction of Adamantium, the virtually indestructible metal substance best known for coasting Wolverine's bones (a result of Weapon X's experiments on the mutant hero).

We've previously heard that the remains of the frozen Celestial Tiamut will be the source of this metal in the MCU and, according to today's rumour, Japan will be the first country to figure out how it can be turned it into metal. Silver Samurai, anyone?

Regardless, after doing so, the nation realises Adamantium can absorb radiation. Apparently, that makes it effective against any Hulk, with Japan's reserves eventually stolen by The Leader.

We don't know why he wants it, but we'd be shocked if Captain America doesn't somehow utilise it during his fight with Red Hulk!

"Really excited. I had a great time filming it," actor Tim Blake Nelson recently told us when we asked about his Captain America: Brave New World role. "And [I] worked with the Marvel team and this wonderful makeup artist named David Atherton with whom I've collaborated on a dozen movies now."

"I think people are going to be pretty excited about what this guy looks like. And what he has to say and what he does," he teased. "All power to the amazing team over there at Marvel."

Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Liv Tyler, and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins.

Julius Onah helms the movie from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, though the director is believed to have also taken a pass at it. Matthew Orton, meanwhile, has written new scenes for the additional photography scheduled to take place this summer.

Captain America: Brave New World is set to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2025.

I like it!!.

I just hope it’ll finally shut up some of the annoying people on Twitter asking why they haven’t acknowledged Tiamut yet (even though they did in She Hulk).

Regardless if true , it sounds like a nice setup imo for MCU Logan and such.

It does sort of line up with the comics, so I wouldn’t mind it.
