'Baron Zemo' Has A Villainous Presence In The Latest TV Spots For CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

The latest look at Captain America The First Avenger: Civil War has come by way of three new German-dubbed TV spots, and they feature new shots of Daniel Bruhl’s mysterious Baron Zemo.

Until just a few days ago, Marvel and Disney managed to exclude Daniel Bruhl’s role as Baron Zemo from all the promotional material for Captain America: Civil War. However, the mysterious villain has now appeared in one of three new TV spots for the Marvel threequel.

We’ve been warned not to expect a lot of Zemo in Captain America: Civil War, given all the superhero vs superhero action that will occur, but the character does play an integral part. Anyhow, the following TV spots are fittingly dubbed for Germany, but they feature great new footage, not just of the aforementioned foe, but also of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man in action.

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. With an all-star cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, with William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.

@crawley - Cap's suit in The Avengers has always looked wrong to me. He looked stiff in it and it just looked wrong. It didn't look tactical or military based at all. I'm glad they didn't continue with that design in later movies.

I'm always happy to see articles from @DCMarvelFreshman.

Why is he not an editor? Or at least he's not featured in the "About" section on the site? He's been around almost as long as anyone. I remember when he first was just "MarvelFreshman"...He even commented on articles. :P

Hold up, those Eurotrash countries call these movies "The First Avenger" instead of "Captain America"?

@blackandyellow - And yet in the trailer you can hear Ant Man call him Captain America.

Well, "America" is in Europe not the best selling-argument for a movie
