COMICS: 'Black Widow' Assesses 'The New Avengers' In First Look At CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Prelude

Marvel's tie-in comics for their movies are very hit and miss, but this Captain America: Civil War prelude definitely looks like it might be worth picking up next week. After all, it features the first mission of the New Avengers who assembled at the end of Age of Ultron, and seeing them pitted against Ultimo - who arguably should be in an MCU movie, not a comic - should be pretty good fun.

• CAPTAIN AMERICA and BLACK WIDOW must train the new Avengers recruits to work together as a team.
• Their first mission: stop the giant robot, ULTIMO!
• Featuring SCARLET WITCH, VISION, FALCON and WAR MACHINE!
• Bonus TALES OF SUSPENSE #58 included.

scarlett johansson is such a wooden actress... man Ghost In the Shell she'll be playing like in Lucy.. Need to express some rage xd

btw im a dc fan but hope civil war does well as it's doing because it's spider-man we're talking 'bout.. however never liked spider-man being around with iron-man etc...even in the comics... i prefer him as lone-wolf but wtv ..

Love y'all

@HarshTimes - I hear this complaint sometimes, and obviously your opinion can't be wrong we like what we like, but it always seems an odd complaint about Spider-man, even though it was a long time into Spider-man's publication history that he became a full-time Avenger, we are still talking about the king of the superhero team-up, something he was known for since essentially the very beginning of the character.

Marvel and DC charging $4.99 for 26 pages of comics is what's going to kill the printed comic book. It's all going to be digital only soon.
