After being saved by Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) and Rhodey (Don Cheadle) in Iron Man 3, President Ellis (Wiliam Sadler) is definitely pro-Avengers. But is his endorsement of Captain America and Falcon just politics as it appears he initiated a meeting with General Ross (William Hurt) to discuss how to address the utilization and deployment of superheroes abroad.

In the scrolling ticker tape across the bottom, there's some cool shout-outs to Ant-Man, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and...shwarma.

Leslie Bibb reprises her role from the Iron Man film series as Christine Everhart. She's joined by The Daily Show's Al Madrigal who plays her co-anchor, Will Adams.

Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Yeah, these are brilliant. Really a connected universe. Would be better if we had some Front Line news. That would just seal these.
Too bad the main man was killed off in Daredevil season 1.

@HugoStiglitz - i would argue that the story was grand in scale and scope and very personal. It was an emotional film. And the political subtext ewas intriguing and smart. More so than in any cbm. It reminded me of a Bourne film in that area.

I see why you may not think its the best but its easy to see why others think it is. I do. But hey its all opinions.
