UPDATE: Check Out A New International TV Spot For CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Though most of this 30-second international promo for Captain America: Civil War reuses footage from the trailers, there are a few brief new shots in there too. See Cap and co. in action after the jump...

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, with William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.

I would be REALLY surprised if this movie isn't really good, if not the best Marvel has produced so far. Then again though, I'm a big Russo Bros guy and call The Winter Soldier their best movie to date.

@Triggermv - A friend of mine saw an advanced screening meant for industry reps. He wasn't allowed to tell me anything other than the fact that he thinks it's the best Marvel film to date. He said he can't wait to see it again on opening night. And he wouldn't tell me anything about Spider-Man no matter how much I begged and tried to bribe him. Or how it ends. I wish I could pretend I have more info to share, but I don't.

@deanwilkins - Good to know. Appreciate what you and your friend did share.

@Triggermv - Listen, I realize that some jerk telling people that he heard a review about this film is questionable. The thing is, it's true. This same friend hated Avengers Age of Ultron, both "newer" Spider-man films. He hated Man of Steel but he doesn't hate Batman v Superman. He liked Winter Soldier and he was okay with the first Avengers. He's not a Marvel or DC guy. FYI.

@deanwilkins - Good to know his background at least on these as he seems mostly similar to my tastes, at least on the Marvel front, so that is encouraging. On the DC front, I walked away pretty disappointed with Batman vs Superman, but was one of the group who actually really liked Man of Steel, so we apparently have some different tastes in the DC world. I'm also not a Marvel or DC guys, but just a lover of both.

I think it has the potential to be the best. The Russos directed Winter Soldier which is my favorite Marvel movie alongside GOTG.

If this movie gets above 90 % RT, then I have no worries for Infinity War.

Can't get over how awesome that scene with Bucky trying to shoot Starks face off is.

@marvelstudios - I don't think I've seen anyone with this theory yet, but hear me out.

I don't think he's trying to kill Tony here. I think he knows that Tony's glove will stop the bullet. This is more of The Winter Soldier just saying, "Don't [frick] with me!"

@SpecialFX45 - That was exactly my reaction. Can't think of a scene in the MCU that made have that sort of reaction.

@capcyclopsftw - That's a possibility. But personally I think he actually tried killing Stark. Makes sense given that he is a killer and not really all there mentally.
