We're sorry, currently our video library can only be streamed within the United States.

Oh what a shame ;)

Uh.... I actually like this movie. I liked it when I saw it as a kid on TV. It has some very sincere "Cap" moments. Its not a masterpiece, but it could have been way worse. *cough cough 70's cough*

My favourite part is where Cap feigns car-sickness in order to escape.... and then does it again later in the movie! Captain America's signature move- Fake Motion Sickness Evasion Technique (TM)
Hold on, thats my second favourite part. My favourite part was the part where the movie wasn't on anymore!

This one I haven't seen but it looks even worse!!

I just saw it yesterday. The concept was good. I could not take those tights serious at all though.

Just a little FYI, Matt Salinger who stared in this is JD Salinger's son, the reclusive Hollywood hating author. Hmmm.

I like when that one nazi in the begining of the movie smashed a window to get in that house when there was a door that his whole squad came in through LOL!

i was working at a movie theatre when this came out. we were so excited we watched it at midnight, just the staff. even then i realized it sucked and i was 17. it came out in 90, right after batman ofcourse came out in 89, so obviously they were just rushing it out there to cash in on the comicbook craze......kinda like catwoman.

Batman and Robin was a masterpiece compared to Captain America. Superman 4 was movie genius compared to Captain America. The Incredible Hulk versus Thor tv special was award winning compared to Captain America.

Batman movie with Adam West & Burt Ward had more of a plot, better acting and was less campy than Captain America.

Dear god... I remember watching this when i was younger and thought it was great. Now? I got about 10 minutes into it and my stomach started doing flips because of how god awful the acting is.. Just.. horrible. They better not use this film in any way or form as some kind of reference for the new one.. Other than possibly having Matt Salinger do a cameo somewhere (and NO i'm not going to suggest him for Cap.)

Multi@ nope, it cam out in the movies. I threaded the projector myself. Was only out for a week or so and not on too many screens but we definately had it. One of my vivid teenage memories.

i remember one part in this when cap throws his shield at a gun tower. you can plainly see his shield hit the leg of the tower, then the shield falls on the ground. a second later a SECOND shield comes flying from the background and cap catches it, lol. yeah, they payed a lot for those special effects :)

@ superdog and multi

i remember being really little and seeing a preview for this in another movie, but then it never came out :(

the preview just showed the back of his legs/boots standing there, and a voiceover guy talking about justice and liberty and all that jazz.

i guess it was only in certain cities??

Now all you need is 'The Fantastic Four' film from the same era (the one that was 'never released') and you could have a comic book version of 'Mystery Science Theater 3000'!

The greatest scene is where he tries to roll down a hill early in the movie. If you look closely, you can see the expression of agonized pain on his face before they quickly cut away. I don't know why, but that simple pained expression pretty much sums up the entire film for me. I know that some people liked it, but, a fascist Italian Red Skull? Really?!? Maybe they should have made the film about the "Sub Mareener". Sad to say, but I do have a copy of this film and the Roger Corman Fantastic Four.

Cheesey and sucky as they may be, they are where our CBM's started.

Respect the beginnings.

Loki - Don't feel bad, so do I. They're kinda' like Ed Wood films (so bad they're great!). Do you have the Hoff's masterpiece 'Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD' to complete the Marvel suck triple-play?

i have seen this movie its up there with Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD and the 1994 Fantastic Four movie(the only thing good about this movie was Rebecca Staab being Invisible Woman:D)probably an argument could be made that these are the worst movies ever made
