"Captain America: The First Avenger" will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.)

I like passage of time and, despite all the ranting that the opening theme isn't as memorable as Supes's, I actually really like that too. It sounds epic, heroic, and just a little bit nostalgic. Perfect for Cap imho.

"This Is My Choice" and "Passage Of Time" are absoultely beautiful. This is my favorite CBM score of this year! Well, judging from the samples I've heard from it at least

This soundtrack is very impressive. The "we did it" track is very much how an epic WW2 film should sound. Lots of horns that carry over the other instruments. This reallly made me when watch Saving Private Ryan. I'm sold. I think this will be Marvels best film to date.

I'll admit, I wasn't impressed with the soundtrack samples they played not too long ago. I was surprised by the number of folks who said it was "Epic." However, after listening to these track samples, my anticipation and enthusiasm for the Cap score has been renewed. I loved the "Star Spangled Man," very campy as Jennn mentioned by very appropriate for this fictional period piece. I also liked "Howling Commando's Montage" because for a brief second, early in the song, you get this very heroic rift which sounds so Alan Silvestri-y. Hurry the [frick] Up Cap, turn this disappointing summer movie season into a somewhat disappointing summer movie season.

Great stuff, though I'd be happier with full downloads of a handful of scene tracks, maybe covering the stuff we've seen in the trailers. For me, downloading samples of a movie soundtrack I'm looking forward to is like a dealer taunting an addict with another fix. Samples. What a horrible thing to do to a fan.
