Chris Evans Reveals When Filming Begins On CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Want to know when filming begins on Captain America: The Winter Soldier? Well, talking at the Toronto Film Festival earlier today, the actor has revealed when he'll be heading back into action as Steve Rogers. Check it out!

It's not exactly a surprise that the crowd at the San Diego Comic-Con erupted in cheers when the title of the Captain America: The First Avenger sequel was announced at the event back in July. Captain America: The Winter Soldier will presumably bring back 'Bucky' (Sebastian Stan) as 'The Winter Soldier' in an adaptation of Ed Brubaker's critically acclaimed arc which saw the character brought back to life as a brainwashed Soviet assassin. The choice of a directing duo in the form of the Russo Brothers (You Me And Dupree, Community) is understandably worrying many, although there are still plenty of other reasons to be excited, including the news that Anthony Mackie (The Adjustment Bureau) has signed up to play The Falcon. Set to be released on April 4th, 2014, Chris Evans has reportedly told Collider's Steven Weintraub when filming on the sequel will begin.

the first avenger costume was better than the avengers costume.it was the cowl/helmet that spoiled the avengers outfit.

just need to update he's world war 2 to a more modern soldier look, the marvel now costume would be perfect.

Chris looks like he lost about twenty pounds between CA:TFA and The Avengers. So I hope he spends the pre-production period tacking on mass. Also, they need to change the suit; his Avengers outfit looked like pajamas.

The Russo brothers worry me. Full confidence in Evans though. This is a great story. Please don't ruin it!

I agree the Cap uniform definitely needs an upgrade from Avengers but don't be too harsh. After all, Coulson helped design it. :)

Evans was so awesome though your forget the digs.

How are you gonna go from July to April?
Don't exactly scream confidence.
Goodness hope I'm wrong.

I liked his outfit both times. Cap needs to be larger than life, and his costume designers shouldn't get cold feet.

Definitely keep the WWII cowl-strap though.

It'd be nice if they could get something that looks more like the dark blue chain mail. Have the stripes go all the way around the costume, and put a star in the back, too. You know, like his costume looks in the comic!

Bummed they're doing "Winter Soldier," as it means my campaign to take over Marvel and delete the "Winter Soldier" debacle from Marvel continuity has been stepped up and must be completed by March 2013.

In the avengers the outfit was a bit on the corny side, but I'm sure that will be updated for Winter Soldier.

Although Evans definitely lost some weight during Avengers and could bulk up a bit... But part of it could be fixed if they made the top a bit more armored, kinda like in the First Avenger, and made it look like the Now! Hexagon or scale mail looking in appearance.

I'd like if the went with a helmet like in the First Avenger also but would prefer just the cowl.

Either way, his costume in Avengers didn't bug me too much and either way, I am stoked for this flick.

The suit wasn't the problem in Avengers...it was the cowl. They would've done better to keep his helmet from CTFA. Now his outfit in CTFA sucked. Looked nothing like a Superhero and would've looked totally out of place in the Avengers. His Avengers outfit was a perfect adaption for film.

I'm looking forward to this more than any other MCU movie, except for Avengers 2. Wish it would start sooner.

March 2013! PERFECT! That'll give him more than enough time to get himself back into the shape he was in for CA:TFA! And he better get like that again! It was hard to see him go from that to how he was in The Avengers! It was very annoying.

I also hope they update his costume cuz it did kinda look like pajamas in the Avengers. They need to change its texture and fix that helmet.
