Chris Evans Says 'CIVIL WAR' Is The Setup For AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
Chris Evans says Captain America: Civil War isn't an Avengers movie, it's the setup for the real battle in Avengers: Infinity War. Interestingly enough, (and as many have surmised) Mark Ruffalo says Bruce Banner and the Hulk are NOT appearing in Civil War.
Speaking to MTV, Chris Evans stopped short of calling Captain America: Civil War an Avengers film. Instead, he revealed that Civil War is more of a "setup man" for Avengers: Infinity War. Said Evans, "Captain America: Civil War is the jumpoff into Avengers: The Infinity War. Civil War is going to be the setup for the real battle. So yeah, there are a lot of people - a lot of people in Cap 3."

In October 2014, Marvel first announced plans for a two-part Age of Ultron sequel titled, Avengers: Infinity War. Director Joss Whedon is not returning to the director's chair and will instead step aside for the Russo Bros., Joe and Anthony, to helm the culmination of Phase 3. The Captain America: The Winter Soldier writing team of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are also joining the Russos on the project. Filming for both parts will be shot back-to-back and is expected to last 9 months. The Infinity War was originally a 1992, six-part miniseries from Marvel Comics, written by Jim Starlin and Ron Lim.
