We know that Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, will be giving Cap headaches in the Marvel sequel, and there's also the likes of Crossbones in the mix - but are there other baddies waiting in the shadows? ThisisInfamous reckon they know a few new details.

Here are a few possible SPOILERS regarding the villains in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Although we know who Cap and Black Widow will be facing as a physical threat, ThisIsInfamous.com claim that our heroes will have a lot more on their plate in the form of...Hydra. Cap's old enemies will apparently resurface and activate some sleeper agents to aid them in their cause. Now this is something many fans have already guessed at, but what about WHO those agents are? According to the site, Robert Redford's character, Maximiliano Hernández's Jasper Sitwell, and even Garry Shandling's Senator Stern are all undercover Hydra agents. They also state that introducing Baron von Strucker in this movie to set him up for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is a "distinct possibility", but that seems more like speculation than anything else. How reliable are these guys in general? Well they seem to have a pretty good standing with most other sites and even the trades..but bear in mind they also claim that Jon Hamm has been cast (not in talks, locked in ) as Dr. Strange so take all of this as you will.

might have something to do with baron von strucker as well because they did say captain america the winter soldier bridges with avengers age of ultron.

they have said that this movie is a lynchpin, a bridge of sorts from the first avengers to age of ultron and since we know baron von strucker is in age of ultron maybe at the end of the film Cap and Black Widow seperate themselves from Shield and try to hunt down ther emaining hydra members and maybe in the opening of age of ultron, we know QS and SW are apprently with Von Strucker so maybe at the beginning we gwt this fight between hydra and baron Von strucker vs Cap and Black widow and then they beat hydra and are called into handle the Ultron situation, and that also maybe leads us into QS and SW joining the team

idk,i still think Robert Redford is Aleksander Lukin, he was a sleeper agent who was placed in Americans Political ranks, rose up to become a head member of shield, took up the Name Alexander Pierce, winter soldier works for him , Pierce still wants to continue the fight against america so he is suing the winter soldier somehow, just speculation

If they go all the way back to Sneator Stern and Jasper Sitwell as undercover HYDRA.... BRILLIANT PLANNING. If Stern is HYDRA it elevates the quality of Iron Man 2 to above mediocre.

That is partially the rumor. Fury is put in the hospital(its in the trailer),Widow is taken out of commission(its partially in the trailer) and all that is left is Cap and Falcon when HYDRA and AIM "rise" so to speak and (fingers crossed) the end of the film is Cap calling the Avengers either mid battle or pre-battle.
There are photos to support this scenario but I have to see it to believe it because it sounds too perfect to be true.

I don't think that they will be called Hydra. I think that we're going to get the sucessors of the original organization in the form of Zodiac. I've been saying this since 02/01/2014 so if anyone says that I'm just copying someone else than you can be sure that I'm not.

Charlie2094-i think Winter Soldier may be like a terminator type villain,hopefully he is something more,i know sebastian stan has said there are gonna be some flashbacks,i dont mind that they are not adapting the winter soldier storyline directly, they are doing their version of it but with the feel of the storyline,hopefully its good

i dont think nick fury is gonna be in this film alot, it looks like fury gets injured, redford character takes over, cap notices soemthing fishy going on, they attacks cap in the elevator, Cap kicks their ass, John McClane Style, he goes on the run with falcon and widow ,and..yeah
