Summary: Zola and his army have invaded Earth, plotting revenge on a now old, but hardly out of the fight Steve Rogers. Ian Rogers, adopted son of Steve crosses over to Earth from Dimension Z to aid the Avengers in taking out Zola.

Falcon and Jet team up, come up with a plan to stop Zola from unleashing super mutates on New York, and make a startling discovery in Zola’s tower.

What I Liked

✔ Great interaction and dialogue between the Avengers

✔Good mix of humor and action, with bits of character development sandwiched in between

✔Ian Rogers is back

✔Unvengers

✔Line work was great and the panels contained great detail without being over stuffed

What I Didn’t Like

✘Pacing is hit and miss

✘No Falcon as Cap yet

✘Zola is getting a bit redundant

Themes:

  • Importance of father/son bonds and how they can have a lasting impression on a child’s life.

  • Doing the right thing, even when it’s not convenient

Score: 8/10

@blackandyellow

Yeah I have. I missed a couple of weeks at the beginning, but for the most part I've been reviewing it and a lot of the tie-ins.
