Top 5 Stories For The Week Ending 03/29/2013

Georges St-Pierre Playing ‘Batroc the Leaper’ In CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER
Batroc the Leaper has been a longtime foe for Captain America in the pages of Marvel Comics. He's an expert martial artist that has a fighting style that places an emphasis on well...leaping. C-listers like Crossbones (Frank Grillo) and Batroc must be working for someone else right? Robert Redford is playing a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. so that theoretically rules him out as the film's main baddie. With shooting expected to begin in a few weeks, we should be hearing news on this front in the coming days.

First Full-Length Trailer For THE WOLVERINE
Looks to be a new and exciting adventure for Logan (Hugh Jackman) in Japan as he deals with the events of X-Men: The Last Stand. Some of the scenes in the trailer were straight out of the comic from Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. Not entirely sold on that train fight although it was shown out of context in the trailer.

Kevin Feige On ‘Hall Of Armor’ Evolution In IRON MAN 3
By now, we've all seen the multitude of armors that will be at Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) disposal in Iron Man 3. Feige has some interesting tidbits to share about how we arrived at this point and what this development means moving forward.

RUMOR: [Lex Luthor] IS In MAN OF STEEL; Do We Know Who's Playing Him?
It should come as no surprise that a certain Superman foe will likely make an appearance of some kind in Man of Steel. This rumor grew legs off an earlier interview with David S. Goyer where the screenwriter gave a cryptic statement about assumptions. Now we may even have an actor to go along with the character.

DC TOONIVERSE: Bruce Timm Steps Down as Producer
We know now that Timm is stepping down but he's not stepping away permanently. Jim Tucker says all the right things about taking WB's direct-to-video adaptations in a new direction and introducing new characters besides Bats and Supes. I'm excited about the forthcoming announcements Tucker teased.

I'm just going to say it...I hate the fact they're introducing 40 new suits in Ironman 3. It was unique in the other two films to see how special the new introduction was...now it's a $200 million toy commercial. It's completely stupid...

Wolverine train fight scene looked a little to green screen but they still got some time to fix it up.

Remember the first teaser for Iron Man 3 ? Tony mansion falling apart ? It looked awfully CGI.

Teasers have always tendencies to show us some unfinished effects.
Staying optimistic.

As for ManOfSteel. Don't believe in it. The guy is probably playing someone else.

You can't have Iron Man 3 without all the suits! At the end of Avengers, Stark almost died in the outer reaches of space, he was teaming up with gods and super soldiers.

IM3 is clearly looking at a post-trauma Tony trying to become the best hero he can be.

No inventor creates something genius without a few tests setting their garage on fire a few times first

@ComicBookKidUK

I agree.

@Canon108

What would you do in a post Avengers world with all your spare time as the one and only Tony Stark? Watch the movie and experience the story before you call something out as being stupid.
Maybe Marvel should hire you! Since you know what is best for it's billion dollar plus franchise...

@canon108 I totally agree! It's just like Batman and Robin all over again... Oh wait, it's nothing like that! This will actually be cool, make sense and be true to the comics!

If I was casting april would go to the red head in zero dark thirty. shredder as ken watanabe and splinter as the original voice who did the original ninja turtles the guy who does elmo. As far as the turtles bring back the guy who played donnie before ernie reyes and get tiger hu chen involved as well make the movie with about the same tone as the first original tmnt live action movie and have beepop and rocksteady as some bad asses that are not smart but very strong and scary not goofy.
