Marvel Studios is gearing up to have a very big week, and the party's getting started tomorrow night during Monday Night Football when they release a new official theatrical trailer for their highly-anticipated March release, Captain Marvel, which stars Academy Award-winner Brie Larson in the title role as Carol Danvers.

After catching a look at a quick promo earlier tonight, the studio has officially confirmed that the trailer will air during halftime of the Philadelphia Eagles/Washington Redskins game. They've also released a fiery new one-sheet featuring our heroine standing front-and-center.



Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
