Higher. Further. Faster.

As promised, the first teaser trailer for Captain Marvel debuted today on GMA (check it out here), and we have an awesome theatrical poster to go along with it.

The one-sheet features Brie Larson's hero in her classic red and blue costume, powering up in an Air-Force hangar bay - a place her civilian alter-ego Carol Danvers is all too familiar with.

In addition, the studio has provided us with an updated synopsis for the movie which gives fans a better idea of what to expect when Captain Marvel flies into theaters next March.

"Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom."
