This fall promises to be a blast for Captain Marvel fans. In addition to Carol Danvers' highly-anticipated new Marvel Studios movie The Marvels hitting theaters on November 10, the character will also headline a brand-new ongoing comic series and an extra-sized comic book one-shot, both hitting stands next month.
Now, we get a glimpse of the Captain Marvel excitement to come with the reveal of two new MCU variant covers!
Adorning Captain Marvel: Assault on Eden #1 and Captain Marvel #2, these spectacular new pieces come our way from acclaimed artists Elena Casagrande and Natacha Bustos, spotlighting the upcoming sequel's leads: Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau.
On sale in October, Captain Marvel: Assault on Eden #1 is described as an epic one-shot written by Anthony Oliveira and drawn by Eleonora Carlini. A standalone tale that serves as a perfect entry point for newer comic readers, this action-packed special sees Carol soldier up alongside Emperor Hulkling and Wiccan to save the Kree home world from a mysterious threat.
And in November, Captain Marvel #2 is the second instalment in writer Alyssa Wong and artist Jan Bazaldua's new era.
Debuting a fresh new costume and a bold new status quo, this pulse-pounding run kicks off when a reality-devouring entity known as the Undone realizes that Captain Marvel is the only hero powerful enough to stop it from annihilating Earth. After being ambushed and trapped, Carol will need to rely on the reluctant help of a young ally who holds the key to victory.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."
The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.
The Marvels is currently set to arrive in theaters on November 10.
