THE MARVELS: Newly Spotted Easter Egg In Final Trailer Teases An EXciting Potential SPOILER

Eagle-eyed fans have zeroed in on an intriguing Easter Egg in the final trailer for The Marvels which appears to confirm the sequel will feature a crossover none of us saw coming. Read on for details...

In the final trailer for The Marvels (which was released yesterday evening during Monday Night Football), it's said fans should "Be There For The Moment That Changes Everything."

In recent promos, we've learned that the Multiverse will come into play as Dar-Benn's villainous actions seemingly cause an incursion which Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Photon have to stop. However, this latest sneak peek has seemingly confirmed the rumours about what that's leading to.

Watch closely and you'll spot Monica Rambeau in a hospital room talking to another costumed hero. This isn't the first time we've seen that scene, of course, but in the bottom right-hand side of the monitor is a symbol which looks an awful lot like the X-Men logo!

It could be a random Easter Egg - similar to that door in Loki - but this feels deliberate and ties into a lot of recent claims about The Marvels' post-credits scene.

According to those leaks, [MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!] Monica will end up trapped in a different reality where she wakes up and comes face-to-face with that world's Captain Marvel, Maria Rambeau. While we can see she'll be decked out in Binary's comic book costume, it's currently unclear whether this is the same Maria we met in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (who could have quite easily survived her run-in with the Scarlet Witch).

How do the X-Men factor into this? Well, the doctor attending to Monica is supposedly Kelsey Grammer's Beast!

There are only a couple of days to go before we find out one way or the other but a scene like this could be setting the stage for Deadpool 3, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and much more besides.

Take a closer look at this intriguing Easter Egg in The Marvels' latest trailer below.

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.

The Marvels is currently set to arrive in theaters on November 10.

Throwing those hail mary’s with this marketing campaign at this point. If the first weekend box office does disappoint, expect that cameo to be featured in trailers by next week.

@mountainman - ha, just wrote the same. Cheers!

@mountainman - I'm surprised they aren't already using that cameo in the marketing. This film is tracking to be a worse box office bomb than black Adam and the flash 🤣

@mountainman - I understand they have to sell this movie. That includes pulling out all the stops to get butts in seats.

Leading a trailer by reminding us of the movies we loved in the past, some of which doesn't even have any of the Marvels in them is a good way to make those on the fence care. But reminding me of superior films and teasing the X-Men isn't enough.

I actually didn't mind the other trailers but the last trailer coupled with the review embargo makes me think Marvel isn't exactly confident with this one. So why should I be? That's my thinking.

@DarthOmega - I actually think this most recent trailer was the best one yet, besides the needless nostalgia baiting.

@Origame - It totally reminds me how the Black Adam marketing felt the need to include Cavil in trailers. It’s gross. Those kind of cameos are supposed to be discovered in theaters.
Origame

@mountainman - and it goes back to the double standards people here have with Disney. The same people complaining about dc doing that with black Adam ignore it when disney does it here.

@mountainman - I hope I'm so wrong. I want this to be good. Think back to opening night watching Marvel films in the Golden era. Remember those theaters packed full of rowdy fans. Even corny jokes got laughs. People would cheer and applause. I guess I'm just feeling nostalgic. The last time I had that was No Way Home. What a magical movie going experience. I WANT THAT BACK! Maybe we will get it with Deadpool 3

@DarthOmega - I miss it too. But I feel they have to earn it. I’m not just going to like it due to nostalgia.

@mountainman - You got that right!

@mountainman - I was excited by the early trailers. I liked this one too, but it's cut like a completely different movie; a serious Captain Marvel 2 completely wrapped into the multiverse. If people go to this movie expecting THAT, I think they're going to be disappointed. I think the first two trailers are really the movie - a relatively light-hearted, character-driven team-up with laser space violence that throws in a multiverse tie toward the end to make it part of the saga.

Just wait. Depending on how much it makes we'll see much more in the incoming weeks trailers.

@Fogs - It already is pretty desperate to include Endgame footage in the trailer for this movie.

When beast shows up, hopefully they will play that same awful remix of the classic xmen 90's cartoon theme song that they shamelessly inserted into that MOM movie with xavier.

@Vigor - I liked Kelsey Grammer' beast, he was the best part in the last stand. just not a fan of how disney marvel has treated the Fox's x-men. killing charles in his first appearance, turning quicksilver into a pen1s joke.

@harryba11zack - I was never a fan of the foxmen and can't wait for the recasted MCU xmen team. Showing that Scarlet witch can son the illuminati including Charles Xavier was pure awesomesauce

I know they're probably saving this for an Avengers movie, but it would be SO damn cool if she had to fight the MCU version of The Ultimates

Carol, Monica and Kamala are probably strong enough to take them on and it would be a really nice way to center Carol in the universe as a protector, but that's a selling point for an event film by itself, and not something they'd sneak into a 'solo' movie

When Marvel had us the most anticipated and on the edge of our seats for the multiverse they gave us Ralph Boner.

This movie….
Origame

@AnthonyVonGeek - nah that was captain marvel 🤣

That was a weird week where people kept video taping themselves going to sold out captain marvel screenings only to be in a completely empty theater. There was even a little girl who was genuinely excited for the movie, not knowing anything about the fan reactions to the movie, noticing that and posting it online.

Why is everyone hating on this movie?
mountainman

@HammerLegFoot - Maybe because we don’t think it looks good.
OmegaDaGrodd
OmegaDaGrodd - 11/7/2023, 10:26 AM
@HammerLegFoot - At some point in the late 2010s, Marvel recognized that bigotry was an issue in the world and that diversity was important, and so from that point on, a bunch of the people you find in every thread repeating this stuff kinda made it their whole personality to "hate" on pretty much everything they put out, especially if that thing is connected to Brie Larson, who's comments about diversity have kinda made her public enemy number 1 in circles filled with weirdos like these. This movie is kinda the focus now but you'll see the same thing any time something related to Ironheart, She Hulk or women/brown people is the focus (except for Blade of course)

@HammerLegFoot - "I don't need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn't work about A Wrinkle in Time," said Larson. "It wasn't made for him! I want to know what it meant to women of color, biracial women, to teen women of color.
