THE MARVELS Rumored To Feature Jude Law's Yon-Rogg And Shamier Anderson As...Blue Marvel?

Production on The Marvels is expected to begin soon, and some newly surfaced details have left fans convinced that they'll see more of Jude Law's Yon-Rogg and possibly even Blue Marvel in the sequel...

The Marvels is set to begin shooting very soon, and there's a lot of excitement for the Captain Marvel sequel that promises to assemble Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani). Beyond that, very little has come to light about the movie, but two major additions might have been revealed thanks to IMDb.

As noted by Murphy's Multiverse, two assistants have been added to The Marvels' listing on the site. The first is John Humber, someone who regularly serves as Jude Law's assistant on his big screen projects. The second, meanwhile, is Samantha Jackson, Shamier Anderson's regular assistant.

You shouldn't need us to remind you that Law played Yon-Rogg in 2019's Captain Marvel, and considering he walked away from his "battle" with Carol, a return does make sense.

As for Anderson, we've heard nothing before now about him potentially being in The Marvels.

Despite that, speculation is already running rampant online that he could be playing Adam Brashear, a.k.a. Blue Marvel. There have been rumblings we'll meet that character in the MCU for a while now, and it would certainly make sense for the hero to debut in a movie with a title like this one. Anderson's star is very much on the rise and he'll soon be seen in John Wick: Chapter 4

More details will hopefully be revealed soon, but it's currently unclear when Marvel Studios plans to share more details on the rest of its Phase 4 slate beyond what we know is coming this year.

The Marvels is set to be released on November 11, 2022.
