THE MARVELS Trailer Is Now MCU's Most Disliked Teaser On YouTube

The Marvels trailer blasted online earlier this week, but it looks to be the latest Marvel project being "review bombed" by those hitting the Dislike button!

The first trailer for The Marvels was released earlier this week and the reaction online appears to have been positive for the most part.

There are, however, those who take issue with actress Brie Larson (for reasons which have never been made entirely clear) and female-led superhero projects in general. Now, it goes without saying that plenty of people didn't like this teaser for perfectly valid reasons; after all, it does look more like a screwball comedy than an epic cosmic adventure.

We've seen some pretty toxic rumours about the Captain Marvel sequel in recent months, but test screenings reportedly went well and an expected round of reshoots is scheduled to take place over the summer.

Alas, The Marvels is now being "review bombed" on YouTube. As of last night, it had received 401,000 Likes in comparison to 365,000 Dislikes.

While YouTube no longer makes the latter number publicly available (in an effort to avoid exactly this), the figures are still accessible and there are those who hope hitting that Dislike button will stop a trailer from being seen on the site. There's something to be said for that, but the teaser has been trending, regardless.

Dislikes for a Marvel Studios trailer are typically in the low five-figure range, and it's telling that the last sneak peek to receive a response as negative as The Marvels was She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.

Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The Marvels arrives in theaters on November 10.

First? Let me be the first to say, if you don't like things that suck, that doesn't make you a troll.

Shitty content has the right to be disliked.

Make better stuff.

The Marvels looks like a shit sandwich.
