Some more promo artwork for the upcoming Captain Marvel movie has found its way online, and while this doesn't feature Carol Danvers in her awesome comic-accurate helmet as this recent batch did, we do get another glimpse of the space-faring heroine in her classic blue and red costume.

The first image is a variation of a previously seen piece of promo art that did the rounds a few months back, but the second gives us an all-new look at Brie Larson as Danvers as she throws a mega-powerful punch. There's also a third design which will most likely be used for marketing purposes.

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

Captain Marvel flies into theaters on March 8, 2019.

Inb4 "Why isn't she smiling?" comments?

Also I'm not sure what Marvel/Disney want to do with this film as of now. Clearly they want it to be a success and it looks good to me, but it feels like an afterthought at the moment. I know March is still some time away but I've been hoping for more interviews and stuff like that

@DnA - I mean why isn't she smiling? Captain marvel is known for her binary smile. Legend has it she once smiled and killed galactus before why would marvel hide that?

@DnA - Personally, I remember thinking the same thing about Black Panther at around this time last year. It felt like Infinity War was overshadowing it, and that Panther would maybe be a good movie, but just a prelude to Avengers. And then it went and made one and a third billion dollars. I think specifically Star Wars was drowning out a lot of the marketing, too.

I'm not saying "Captain Marvel will definitely do the same thing", but I feel like a lot of these blockbusters are getting into more of a habit of keeping their powder dry until they can blitz in the month or so before release. (Not all, obviously.)

Plus, I feel like my old expectations of the industry are getting very outdated now. Venom's marketing never would have made me expect that reaction (even though the niche it filled in the market made sense once I had seen the movie itself).

@MyCoolYoung - Would you smile when there is a war going around you and your memories have been altered and fricked up?

@DnA -
It feels like she has been inspired by the 'Kristen Stewart, Twilight' or to a lesser extent 'Keanu Reeves, Matrix' method of acting where they intentionally avoid displaying many emotions so that they can become a self-insert for the audience.

Personally, a trailer needs to either sell me on the character, story or acting - and the current trailer hid most the non-cliche story, avoided demonstrating her character and showed a small range of her acting. I hope the next trailer is better because at the moment it feels like an Ant-Man and the Wasp scenario where it could be skipped easily except for a post-credit scene that everyone already knew would be the case.

I’m excited for this movie as much as I was excited for Black Panther. Marvel I don’t like you toying with us with it comes to releasing trailers. Just release the Avengers 4 trailer already. Lion king and Toy story already have trailers. they come out later than Avengers 4.

@MyCoolYoung - Maybe this is the optimist in me speaking but every Russo directed Marvel movie has dropped their trailer on the last Tuesday of November for Captain America Civil war and Infinity war. But then again we’ll have to wait to find out.

@PantherKing - same here. We've been kept in the dark for so long infinity wars was almost 7 months ago. We deserve the movie NOW *fanboy voice * or at the least a synopsis
