Captain Marvel Wraps Production
We'll start with the biggest news. Captain Marvel co-director Ryan Fleck has taken to Instagram to announce that principal photography has been completed on the film.
Fleck didn't share a photo of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, unfortunately, instead posting an image of what appears to be a call sheet for "day 75 of 75."
When a Marvel movie wraps the studio usually makes some kind of official announcement, so hopefully something a little more exciting will accompany that.
UPDATE: Brie Larson has also shared this image.
No Batgirl In Birds Of Prey?
Despite reports from a reliable source that Batgirl would be making her big-screen debut in the Birds of Prey movie, a new rumor suggest that might not be the case - although we could still see the DC heroine's civilian alter-ego!
This all seems a little shaky, but Umberto Gonzalez responded to a Tweet from Batman News by stating that it was "recently decided" that Batgirl would not appear in the film. However, he then hinted that Barbara Gordon would show up in some capacity.
Tom Holland Pays Tribute To The Late Steve Ditko
Earlier today, Marvel Studios commemorated the death of Steve Ditko with a new painting of Spider-Man, and now the actor that plays the iconic superhero in The MCU has paid tribute to the legendary artist with a Tweet of his own.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix Star Wants To Join The Avengers
Sophie Turner is already part of a 20th Century Fox superhero franchise, but it sounds like the Game of Thrones actress wouldn't mid jumping ship to The MCU.
While speaking to Digital Spy, Turner revealed that she's a huge fan of Iron Man and the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and that she "just wants to be another Avenger."
“Which Marvel hero would I like to meet? Iron Man, probably, because he’s so badass. Or… oh, God, I don’t know. All of them. All would be pretty awesome. I don’t know. There’s so many. Just all of the Avengers, basically. I just want to be another Avenger."
Who knows - if the Disney/Fox deal goes through, Turner might just get her wish.
Captain Marvel Stands Against Thanos On This New Fan-Poster
It's going to be a while before we get to see this confrontation play out on screen, but in the meantime, Boss Logic has put together this pretty damn awesome poster of Captain Marvel taking a stand against the Mad Titan.
From the looks of the grim rubble beneath Danvers' feet, Thanos has already made short work of the other Avengers.
Evangeline Lilly Reveals That She Almost Quit Acting After Lost
Evangeline Lilly is currently making a big splash in Ant-Man and The Wasp, and looks set to be a major part of the MCU for many years to come - but this very nearly didn't happen.
During an interview with THR, Lilly reveals that she almost gave up acting after Lost wrapped in order to focus on writing and raising her new baby, and was only tempted back to the limelight when Peter Jackson offered her the role of Tauriel in The Hobbit.
"I had a wonderful time making that movie: One of the highlights in my life was living in New Zealand for that year and being a part of that family. That helped opened my eyes to the fact that, OK, this job can be a joy, it’s just a matter of how you approach it, and what you do with it, how much I put myself out there, and to a certain degree, how much I work.”
Deadpool 2 "Super Duper Cut" Blu-Ray Cover Revealed

As you can see, the artwork features Domino, Cable and The Merc With a Mouth himself striking (slightly) new poses.
The movie will screen on Saturday, July 21 from 10 p.m.-12 a.m. PT at San Diego’s Horton Grand Theatre near the Convention Center.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. White Fang will premiere on Netflix on July 6.
Josh Brolin Has A Message For Thanos-Obsessed Subreddit
You've probably already heard about the Thanos subreddit that's planning on banning half of its members tomorrow in order to achieve "perfect balance," and it seems the announcement has also come to the attention of Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo.
The Russos shared a video of The Mad Titan himself (well, actor Josh Brolin) to Twitter, which sees him recreating "the snap" which wiped out half the universe at the end of Infinity War.
Maisie Williams Bids Farewell To Game Of Thrones And Arya Stark
Finally, actress Maisie Williams has shared an Instagram post which confirms that she's filmed her last scenes as Arya Stark for the upcoming final season of Game of Thrones.
The photo features Williams sporting a pair of bloody trainers, and is accompanied by the caption: “goodbye belfast. goodbye arya. goodbye game of thrones. what a joy i’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come" She's also added the hashtag #LastWomanStanding, which most likely isn't a spoiler as many have suggested it could be.
We'll find out if Arya survives what is sure to be a lethal Game of Thrones finale next year.
