CATWOMAN: HUNTED Trailer Debuts As DC Reveals GREEN LANTERN And SUPER SONS Movies For 2022

DC FanDome may have been light on big screen announcements, but we did get some news about the DC Animated Universe slate. In the Spring, Warner Bros. Animation will release a Teen Titans Go/DC Super Hero Girls crossover that unites the two teams in a kid-friendly event movie.

However, something we're sure will be of more interest to most of you is the news that Green Lantern is finally set to receive the spotlight in Green Lantern: Beware My Power. No plot details have been revealed, but it's about time these characters get a movie after so many Batman projects.

That's coming in the summer, while the fall will see the release of Battle of the Super Sons. Featuring a team-up with Superboy and Robin, it will be DC's first-ever fully CG animated movie.

Oh, and if you're very patient, a complete edition of Batman: The Long Halloween is also coming in 4K. It was also mentioned that a new Constantine short is premiering next year with Matt Ryan set to reprise the role of the demon-hunting anti-hero after his stint on Legends of Tomorrow wrapped up.

Before all of that, though, Catwoman: Hunted is set to be released on February 8. In that movie, Catwoman’s attempt to steal a priceless jewel puts her squarely in the crosshairs of both a powerful consortium of villains and the ever-resourceful Interpol, not to mention Batwoman. It might just be enough to contain her. Or not.

Check out the first trailer for Catwoman: Hunted below:

@BlackBeltJones - it's almost as if they're going for an anime style.

@Origame - which I get and I’m an anime fan. But it reminds me of cheaper styled, old school anime is all.

I actually kinda like the style. Wish we also could've gotten something from Super Sons, since I have no idea how to visualize that style.

Also, Green Lantern? About time

Super Sons was cool AF. Sending Jon to outerspace with his alternate dimension space grandpa so he could find his sexuality was dumb. They ruined the potential long term story telling of Jon and Damian so they could have a bisexual Superman. I don't care if he's Bi, but I care that they basically exchanged one character for another because of the symbol on his chest and a marketing ploy.

I am holding off buying The Long Halloween because I am waiting for the complete edition,I have The Dark Knight Returns and it's so much better being able to watch it as a complete movie.

Kinda thought this would be tied into the new animated universe they've been building. But this art style kinda puts that to rest. Looks like it could be fun though.

@Origame - I'm hoping the Green Lantern film is connected to that universe.

Can't believe a finally reached that point in the timeline where a Superman's son is here to stay.

Nobody even remembers Chris Kent for example.

Long Halloween was freakin' definitive.

I can't believe we don't have a Flash origin movie coming out around the time of the big-screen Flash movie. Missed a trick there. It could've been the preferred alternative.

Catwoman looks fine, but I wish they'd gone for a different suit as to me there's something odd about the Cooke suit in that style, something seems wrong IDK. I can't wait for the GL movie, he's shined in his animated adaptations so I have a lot of hope for this one.
